Why is it that some people seem to live enchanted lives while others struggle simply to get through each day?
The difference is not luck.
It is not intelligence.
It is not even circumstances.
The difference is alignment.
Those who live enchanted lives have learned to live in harmony with themselves. They understand that life is not something to conquer, force, or control. Instead, they choose a state of grace that allows them to move with the natural flow of life rather than constantly pushing against it.
Grace is not passive. Grace is a conscious choice.
It is the willingness to trust the unfolding of life while actively participating in its creation.
When you choose grace, you stop fighting reality and begin partnering with possibility.
You stop living from fear and begin creating from faith.
You stop reacting to life and begin designing it.
For the first six steps of this journey, you have awakened, acknowledged, accepted, released, repaired, and restored aspects of yourself that may have been hidden beneath old beliefs, wounds, expectations, and limitations.
You have remembered who you truly are.
But knowing who you are is only the beginning.
Now it is time to become it.
To claim it.
To embody it.
To live it.
Your dreams are not random wishes.
Your passions are not accidents.
The desires that continue to call to you are invitations from your authentic self, guiding you toward a life that reflects your deepest truth.
Step 7 is about gaining clarity.
Not simply clarity about goals.
Not simply clarity about what you want to have.
But clarity about who you are here to be.
This is where you begin designing a life that aligns with your values, your gifts, your passions, and your purpose.
This is where you stop settling for a life that merely happens to you and begin consciously creating a life that reflects the magnificence already within you.
You are no longer redesigning your future from fear.
You are designing it from authenticity.
You are creating a vision that honors your heart.
A vision that inspires your soul.
A vision that allows your unique gifts to become your living legacy.
This next phase of your life is not about becoming someone else.
It is about becoming more fully yourself.
You are the writer of your story.
You are the director of your choices.
You are the hero of your adventure.
And the life you are about to create begins with a single decision:
To believe that the dream within you was given to you for a reason.
Now is the time to align with that dream.
Now is the time to design the life you were born to live.
This is where many personal growth programs stop short.
They tell people:
"Find your purpose."
But they rarely teach them how.
The truth is that most people do not discover their purpose by thinking harder.
They discover it by remembering who they were before fear, obligation, conditioning, and survival took over.
Step 7 should not start with:
"What do you want to do?"
It should start with:
"Who are you when you are most alive?"
Purpose is usually hidden inside three things:
What You Love
What naturally lights you up?
What could you spend hours doing and lose track of time?
What topics, experiences, people, or activities energize you?
Ask:
- What makes me feel alive?
- What am I naturally drawn toward?
- What do I love learning about?
- What have I always wanted to explore?
What Comes Naturally
Many people overlook their greatest gifts because they come so easily.
Ask:
- What do people naturally come to me for?
- What do I do well without much effort?
- What strengths have followed me throughout my life?
- What have others consistently appreciated about me?
What Breaks Your Heart
Purpose often hides in the places where compassion lives.
Ask:
- What problems in the world deeply affect me?
- What suffering would I love to help reduce?
- What change would I most like to see in the world?
- What do I wish someone had taught me earlier in life?
Very often our greatest wound becomes our greatest gift.
The Purpose Formula
You might introduce:
Purpose lives at the intersection of:
What you love.
What you are naturally gifted at.
What serves something larger than yourself.
When those three begin to overlap, purpose starts to emerge.
A Powerful Discovery Exercise
Imagine You Are 95 Years Old
Close your eyes.
Imagine yourself near the end of a long, beautiful life.
You are looking back.
Ask yourself:
- What experiences am I grateful I had?
- What risks am I glad I took?
- What gifts am I glad I shared?
- What relationships mattered most?
- What impact did I make?
- What would make me feel my life was well lived?
Then ask:
What do I need to begin doing now so that future version of me smiles with gratitude?
The answers are often surprisingly clear.
The Living Legacy Question
This could become the cornerstone of Step 7:
If money were not a concern,
if fear were not a factor,
if no one could judge you,
and you knew you could not fail...
How would you spend the next chapter of your life?
Then:
What part of that life can you begin living today?
Because purpose is rarely found.
Purpose is revealed when you stop abandoning yourself and start listening to what has been calling you all along.
That fits beautifully after Step 6 because they have already learned to listen to the wisdom of their heart. Now Step 7 becomes:
"What is my heart calling me toward?"
And that question naturally leads into designing your dream life plan.
